Simon Liebling, MD

Hi! I’m Simon Liebling, MD.

I am a physician in Philadelphia who is closely involved in medical education research, design, and implementation.

My professional interests are in the overlap between medical education and medical communication, because I believe that health professionals who communicate well with their patients draw on the same skills as effective teachers. I am especially passionate about the way that health professionals can learn to apply those skills in conversations with patients and families about serious illnesses.

Outside of work, I am a long-time rock climber, crossword fan, history buff, and lover of all things Yiddishkeit.
